Insurance Estimator – Carpets and Flooring – Northern Ireland
Carpet Roles UK, dedicated recruiters to the UK Flooring Industry are currently seeking Insurance Claim Inspectors / Sales Staff for a specialist Insurance Assessment Company to the Flooring market.
The role is a roving one where you will deal with all incoming claims in a specific area, advising customers on how you can assist them with their claim, either by Repairing or Measuring and Estimating and Replacing Damaged Flooring. There is also a strong Selling requirement with the role as you will also be able to offer the claimants the opportunity to upgrade the flooring covered by the claim for an additional payment. Ideally the role will suit an experienced Flooring Estimator who is from a Retail background for either a large High Street Chain or Independent Flooring Retail background – ex Employees of HFS (Allied) in particular.
You will need to have the following skills:
• A very good knowledge of flooring (all types, Carpets, Wood, Vinyls, Amtico, sisal etc.)
• Good sales record ideally within a Retail Flooring Environment.
• Planning and estimating skills for Flooring.
• Good IT skills.
• Customer facing experience and strong Selling skills.
• A “can do” work ethic.

This position will be to cover an area of Northern Ireland centered upon the Belfast (BT) postcode area so ideally you will be based in that vicinity / within an easy commute in order to be considered.
