Vorwerk fascinates at Shakespeare’s Globe

Those invited to the exclusive launch of the restyled Fascination Collection of carpets by renowned German carpet manufacturer Vorwerk on Monday 18th June in London were treated to a stunning array of designs in a perfectly picturesque setting.

The Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in central London provided the ideal backdrop for the innovative Fascination Collection, which has been completely revamped with brand new styles that reflect Vorwerk’s innovative and creative nature.

Visitors were able to interact with the Floor Sculptures concept, composing of interlocking carpet tiles that fit together in any number of combinations for a truly personalised look.

Other highlights of the collection include a glamorous colour update of the super-soft Lyrica, the retro-inspired Flow carpet with a thought-provoking three-dimensional quality and the contemporary Rosario design that features brightly dyed tips to create a textured aesthetic.

As part of the seemingly endless Design Unlimited concept, any carpet in the Fascination Collection can be transformed into a stylish bordered rug in any size up to four metres wide and six metres long, fringed with a choice of 23 ribbed cotton, faux leather or cotton velour borders for an individual look.

As Ian Hammond, UK director, Vorwerk Carpets, explains, “The Fascination Collection is a truly comprehensive range, with such an assortment of qualities and designs.

The recent launch proved to be a very successful way of allowing retailers to discover the entire collection and gave us the opportunity to showcase the designs in an informal setting.

Visitors were especially impressed with the Floor Sculptures concept, and commented on how different our products are to others currently available in the market.”
